it’s not my hometown.
I saw the quote of this topic
online and since it describes exactly the way I’ve been feeling for more than
an year now, clearly it is the perfect choice for a post. So let’s get started…
I guess everything started back
in my childhood, when my dad taught me to enjoy travelling. Since then I’m
addicted to this adrenaline feeling that you get when travel somewhere new. He
used to take me to so many beautiful places in Bulgaria (he actually still does)
and I loved it. I can proudly say that I’ve visited places that most of the
people wouldn’t even think of visiting.
Not only he showed me our fascinating
country, but he taught me to respect and love my mother land, my history and my
roots. And so I do. But I just don’t feel like I belong here anymore.
I’m not going to tell you the
whole story of how I found MY place, because it’s interesting, but pretty long
story though, so I may lose you somewhere in it. But let me just tell you that
once you find that one place where you feel completely happy it’s a love for a
lifetime. There’s no way back. You’ll never feel the same about any other
centimeter of land on the Earth. You may not be physically there, but your mind
will constantly refer your thoughts back to this city/town/country.
Because this place will make you
feel complete – with its nature, its lifestyle, with the people living there.
Everything will suit you so good it’ll be hard to believe, but at the same time
it will feel like you’ve always been living this way.
Chase it!
And if you’re looking for
motivation – here it is. I’m telling you – don’t give up on your dream, because
you know that if you continue living where you do not belong happiness will
hardly ever come. So get up, find a way, make a plan (even if it costs you a
lot of time and effort to achieve it) and go for it. Don’t stand on the side,
watching how others make their dream come true. If it’s worth it, it won’t come
that easily and you have to work hard for it. So arm yourself with a lot of
patience and dedication first.
Seriously, you need to give this dream all the dedication and love
you’re capable of!
Be sure that there is nothing as
satisfying and important as waking up every morning, stepping out and being full
of love and passion for life just because you know you’re at the right place…simply
being thankful that you can watch the sky from this particular piece of land.
Once you step there you’ll feel
it all and all of your efforts will be justified. Your heart will be at home.
This was just a quick reminder for all of you out there
who have big dreams, but still need a little motivation to go ahead and achieve
it.
Thank ya'll for your time.
